SPÕÕÕÕ-Õ-IH TYPE ROLLING MILL FOR CROSS WEDGE ROLLING WITH AN INDUCTION HEATER
PURPOSE
SPõõõõ-õ-IH type cross wedge rolling mills with induction heaters are intended for heating and further hot, half-hot, and warm rolling of billets. The mills operate in an automatic mode during which billets are fed from a bunker device, heated and rolled. During the heating of billets their differentiation into “underheated”, “overheated” and “normally heated” is performed. The mills allow to manufacture products with the diameter up to 150 mm and length up to 1000 mm

These mills occupy less space than mills with one movable die,
and have a higher output capacity.
