MATERIALS TO BE PROCESSED
The experience that we have accumulated allows to perform rolling of products made of the following materials:
- structural steels and steels containing up to 5% of alloying elements;
- separate steel grades containing over 5% of alloying elements;
- aluminium;
- copper;
- zirconium;
- titanium;
- brass.
The influence of the cross wedge rolling process upon the structure is revealed in some densification of the material beneath the surface as compared to its state before rolling. Below a rolled billets is shown with indication of areas 1, 2, 3, 4 for microstructure study.
