MACROSTRUCTURE
The macrostructure is characterized by a change in the fiber form. A new macrostructure is formed during cross wedge rolling:
- the fibers are continuous along the entire billet length
- the fibers turn smoothly around projections and valleys
- the fibers are densified to the surface.
The macrostructure obtained as a result of cross wedge rolling allows to improve the performance data of products.
