				Billet maker - machine for splitting bar materials into billets.

				PURPOSE

					Location plan

					Billet maker is a new machine, invented in the year 2000. The machine enables us to obtain conical-ended billets, to cut power inputs for every piece and to attain a high production output, up to 1200 pieces per hour. Another advantage of Billet maker is its capability to produce billets from different materials, including soft materials: structure steel, copper, aluminium, bronze, brass. The splitting technology consists of the following process steps: knurling bar material, and after that material destruction by repeated deformation. After destruction, there is a facet at the ends of the billet, which has formed knurl before.

					Billet maker is an analog of mill with two rollers, but with special tool. Two models are developed: a) GU with universal tool The machine series of this model have a maximum output production of 1000 pieces per hour and are for bar material with diameter up to 200 mm. b) GC with special tool The machine series of this model have a maximum output production of 1200 pieces per hour and are for bar material with diameter from 15 to 200 mm. At customer's request, Billet maker are manufactured and delivered for every diameter ranging from 15 to 200 mm. Billet makers are equipped with feed system for bar material with length from 6 to 8 m.
